KCIC Academy Powered by Karnataka Commercial & Industrial Corporation limited conducted awareness cum orientation program for Police Sub Inspector and KPSC exams. The orientation program was organized by KCIC Academy with the support of local NGO DSF. Students from Kolar, Hoskote, Malur etc. participated.

The speaker Shahed Hashmi shared details about different competitive exams like KAS, PSI, FDA, IAS etc.

Around 500 students participated in the program and interested students joined KCIC Academy for further coaching cum physical training. KCIC academy commandant Major Sanjay Mehrotra also conducted awareness among students about joining Military and Para Military forces like CRPF, CISF, SSB, ITBP, BSF and NSG.

KCIC Academy has been designed to cater for approximately 1200 residential students at one time. Male and female barracks are kept separately. 

Camp Warden Nb/ Subedar Jagdish Singh mentioned that, the KCIC Academy caters not only for classroom training but it is well equipped for physical training too. Which includes training ground, Running track, Parade ground, Zig Zag, Double ditch, monkey rope, china wall, long jump, high jump and other team activity games/sports. All obstacles and activities are supervised by well-trained ex armed forces and Para military trainers. 

Camp Commandant mentioned that, the aim of this Academy is to give a platform to needy and genuine candidates so that, they achieve their goal in life.
