It’s not just about getting a degree anymore for engineers or other professionals. Every other skill and work experience counts for extra points.

To my recent surprise, work experience and certificates from an NGO can give you a lot of points in your engineering campus placements. After inquiring with other friends from degree colleges, the same happens there too.

But which NGOs should you work for? Which NGOs genuinely contribute towards a good cause in the society? Here are some NGOs which are actually making a difference.

Be it for a resume or not, working in an NGO gives an individual, a sense of satisfaction for having given back a part of what he or she has.

Work experience at NGOs teach us to work in teams, work for welfare, work honestly and most importantly, work to satisfactory levels. Hence it gives you extra points to have a certificate from an NGO for your work in your resume!
