The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has left the entire film industry and his fans mourning. It has been more than a fortnight since this unfortunate incident occurred, but the condolences on social media have not stopped.
This incident has highlighted the toxic culture of nepotism that is prevalent in Bollywood. Netizens bashed Karan Johar for always casting star kids in his movies over new talent. Celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan, and many more were publicly criticized.
Now, Sooraj Pancholi’s name is the latest addition to this list. The Hero actor was also involved in Jiah Khan’s suicide case however, his name was cleared when the police failed to find any solid evidence against him.
How Sooraj’s Name Got Involved In Sushant Singh’s Murder Case
Jiah was dating Sooraj back when she committed suicide in her Bombay flat, reportedly because of depression. She had also undergone an abortion earlier that year. The unborn baby was claimed to be of Sooraj Pancholi.
Now, people are suspecting that a similar case might have happened with Disha Salian, ex-manager of Sushant Singh Rajput. It is suspected that Disha Salian got pregnant with Pancholi’s child, just like Jiah Khan did.
Pancholi pressurized Disha to abort the kid, something that she was reluctant to do. Disha confronted Sushant about the same and he chose to stand by her.
Anguished, Sooraj pushed her out the balcony of her house and staged it as suicide. Sushant, who knew the reality and was possibly going to spill everything to the media and police, had to be taken care of.
Hence, to save his career from drowning and image being tarnished, Sooraj planned the murder with the help of Salman Khan. The involvement of Mahesh Bhatt has also been speculated.
The actual murder is speculated to be executed by Sandip Singh, a confidante of Sushant Singh. Allegedly, Sooraj used his authority in Bollywood to influence Sandip against Sushant.
