The BharatPe and Ashneer Grover drama has been going on for almost the whole year and even with the year ending, their tussle doesn’t seem to be nearing an end anytime soon. With the fintech company having just sued the former MD and co-founder Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover for fraud, misappropriation of company funds and more.
The lawsuit which comes to around Rs. 88 crore in total alleges that Grover and his wife misused company money and swindled from it too while they were a part of it.
BharatPe in a whopping 2,800-page lawsuit has listed out various ways that Grover and his family members committed fraud against the company. Here we take a look at some of them:

This is the first time that an Indian startup has sued its own former founder over mismanagement of funds and fraud. The suit was presented before the Delhi High Court, which has further given Grover and his family two weeks to respond and the next hearing will be on 9th January 2023. If the charges against Grover are found true then he could face a prison sentence of almost 10 years.
