Words of a man who has been criticised over his comments about the internet existing since the days of the Mahabharata was bound to be taken as a meaningless joke but Biplab Deb got his facts right ahead of the time about duck-farming.
He intends to offer around 50,000 indigenous ducks to local fisherman as a move to boost the state’s economy along with aesthetic beautification of the area.
Tripura’s CM Biplab Deb has recently drawn flak over suggestions to integrate duck farming along with fish around Rudranagar Lake in Tripura claiming that swimming ducks increase the level of oxygen in the water.
Surprisingly, he was right this time.
