Oh the slogans, the publicity and the raging popularity. Narendra Modi has become a little bit of a stalker. His campaigning doesn’t seem to leave you even in metros. Every way you turn your head, voila! It’s Narendra Modi. And the slogans. WOW. They’ve become somewhat of a fashion statement. It’s crazy but at the same time it’s working. People are talking about him, they are writing about him (myself included). Even if we are sharing a joke at his expense, his name is going round the country. Well is his popularity justified? Yes, certainly. All the supposed leaders have got a chance to ruin the country, let’s give him his chance too. We never know. Maybe in this experimentation for the “perfect” leader, we might just find him in Narendra Modi. His capitalist approach interest the economists. His vibrant nature and charismatic nature is attracting the people. But what is the take of the youth? Tanvi Kaushal, a BA student of MCM DAV, Chandigarh, feels that Modi might be the new superhero. She feels,” Agreed he’s done things which can go against him, but people are tired of Congress and their failure to meet their promises. So yes, there are chances of a Modi wave. Another student of Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, feels that Modi will bring in better laws which will lead to better governance. It will bring a change in the economy, it might be a step towards making India a super-power economy.
A very interesting comment from someone who prefers to be anonymous, says, “My morality prefers AAP but my intelligence and brain trusts Modi”. Interesting!
