The much-awaited Harshad Mehta based series ‘Scam 1992’ is out and it is getting good reviews for the most part.

Touted as the ‘Amitabh Bachchan of the Stock Market’ Mehta was a case of rag to riches and then eventual disgrace owing to the things he did.

The Indian stockbroker, who came from an average Gujarati family, during the 80s and 90s climbed the ladder at the Indian stock market, eventually earning the title of ‘The Big Bull’.

He was reportedly behind the massive 1992 securities scam that lead to many people losing all their money, becoming bankrupt and crashing the stock market.

For some time there, he was one of the most wanted man in India for his part in the stock manipulation scheme that was done by worthless bank receipts.

This scam did ultimately expose some glaring errors that our banking system but he remained on trial for almost 9 years before getting convicted.

This new web series about him though, has given us some interesting lessons about several things:
