FinTech Festival India (2021-2022), organised by Constellar Exhibitions in association with Niti Aayog, aims at unleashing the potential of FinTech in India and showcasing the opportunities for global investors and the FinTech fraternity to venture into the Indian market. Key Highlights from the past 5 Hybrid Micro Experiences

Mumbai Micro Experience – The Mumbai Micro Experience was attended by the likes of Mrutyunjay Mahapatra – a member of NABARD and Insurance Advisory Council of India, Ashish Singhal – CEO, Coinswitch, Varun Sridhar – CEO, PayTM Money, and more. At the day-long event filled with power-packed conversations around Financial Inclusion, WealthTech and banktech, an expert panel also talked about cryptocurrencies in India, how they should be regulated and how it is an alternative investment class. Widely covered by regional and national media, some monumental statements from the event made headlines stirring more conversations amongst industry veterans. They also talked about how the FinTech ecosystem needs to have a framework agenda in order to thrive.

Chennai Micro Experience – The Micro Experience was well-attended by the industry and policy-makers, with the Government of Tamil Nadu and ELCOT(The Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu) hosting a panel focused on how Tamil Nadu is a pioneer for the FinTech ecosystem and is set to become a global FinTech hub. Industry leaders from the industry such as Himanshu Gupta – CEO, Kristal.AI, Irfan Mohammed – CBO, CredAvenue, Sharan Nair, CBO – CoinSwitch talked about the future of FinTech and cryptocurrency in India, how this can be shaped for a better future.

New Delhi Micro Experience – Key speakers at New Delhi Micro Experience were Ms Simmi Chaudhary, Economic Adviser & Group Coordinator, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, Sonu Sood – actor, investor and entrepreneur, Abhishek Singh – Deputy Commissioner, New Delhi, Gaurav Chopra – CEO, IndiaLends, Gurjodhpal Singh – CEO, Tide India etc. They talked about how FinTech has emerged as the game changer for financial inclusion. From UPI to Aadhar, the tie-up between government and private sector always leads to a fruitful outcome, and more such initiatives are being encouraged by the government.

Bengaluru Micro Experience – The conference held in Bangalore saw panellists and industry leaders talk about investments, cyber security, digital payments, and Neobanking. Attended by industry speakers such as Lizzie Chapman – CEO, Zestmoney, Anubhav Jain – Co-founder, Rupifi, Anish Achuthan – CEO, Open Financial Technologies, Balu Ramachandran – CBO, Simpl, etc, the conference delved into various topics, Government of Karnataka also stated that in order to enhance the FinTech sector, they are in talks with various countries through their global innovation alliance partnership.

Hyderabad Micro Experience – The inaugural micro experience was attended by Anand Kumar Bajaj, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, PayNearby, Manish Bhatia, President – Technology, Analytics and Capabilities, Lendingkart, Vijay Aggarwal, Chief Technology Officer, BharatPe. The sessions at the event had leaders of the industry discussing on how to further develop the FinTech ecosystem in India. A white paper on ‘Hyderabad – The emerging Start-up Hub in India’, published by Ernst & Young (EY), Knowledge Partner of FFI, was also unveiled at the Micro Experience.
