The murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala has left a lot of people shaken. The cold-blooded way it was done and how it was in the middle of a road and in broad daylight has left a lot of people questioning the brutal nature of it and more specifically as to why exactly it happened.
Shortly after news spread of the murder Goldy Brar a Canada based gangster claimed responsibility for the murder online. As per reports, he stated that it was him along with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi who was at the time in jail who created the plan to assassinate Moose Wala.
Apparently, the rivalry had come from the mentioning of the singer’s name in the list of people alleged for the killing of Akali leader Vicky Middukhera and his cousin Gurlal Brar.
However, there is some misinformation going around as to who this Goldy Brar person is and some innocent person with the same name is also being wrongfully accused.
Confusion Over Name
Recently a Facebook video was posted by a person called Goldy Brar from Punjab. In the video the person is seen emphasizing that he is not the same person as the one who claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

This person in the video said that “I am Goldy Brar, son of Rajinder Singh from village Jandwala. My picture is being misused on social media in connection with today’s tragic incident of the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. I will take proper legal action against those.”
After Brar’s statements, some people mistook the other Goldy Brar as the one accused and his photos went viral on social media especially one where he is seen posing with Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on his Facebook.
There was also false information spread that Bhagwant Mann is associated with the alleged killer of Moose Wala which is incorrect.
