Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death is still a topic being discussed almost 26 days after it happened.

The extremely shocking news that came out on 14th June of how Rajput had ended his life allegedly from suicide in his Mumbai apartment left thousands and lakhs of fans and people completely aghast.

Nobody had seen this coming since Rajput was, for all intents and purposes, a well-known name, an extremely talented actor and had some pretty interesting projects lined up.

None of his fans had any inkling that Rajput was struggling in any way or that he was contemplating taking such a big step.

The news of his death left scores of fans shattered who are still lamenting the loss of a true actor and a good person, wanting some kind of justice for his death.

But it is not just them who can’t get over this tragic incident, even some of Sushant’s close friends and co-workers are finding it difficult.

One such person is Bhumika Chawla, who recently posted a lengthy post on her Instagram talking about how even some 20 days after his demise, she still cannot forget him.

Bhumika Chawla’s Long Note

On July 3rd 2020, actress Bhumika Chawla penned a long note to Sushant Singh Rajput, bidding him her final farewell on Instagram.

Bhumika had shared the screen space with Rajput in one of his most critically and commercially successful movies MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Bhumika played the role of Dhoni’s elder sister in the 2016 movie and personally, I liked their scenes quite a lot.

In her post, she started off by saying how even almost 20 days after his demise she constantly thinks about Rajput and why he took that decision.

She wrote “It’s been almost 20 days … and I wake up thinking of you. Still wondering what it was … one only shared the screen space as a character briefly but still associated together.”

She wondered if it was depression or professional setbacks and pointed how if it was the former he should have talked about it and seemed puzzled for the latter since he had some good projects.

Bhumika then gives a reality check that seems more pointed at the people out there than only Rajput.

She wrote that “YES I AGREE it’s not easy to survive here — I am not talking of insider or outsiders — IT IS WHAT IT IS — yes if I have to connect with someone even after having done 50 plus films it ain’t easy — but I am still grateful I am doing work — maybe I just choose to work on this perspective — constantly pushing myself to think and believe good .. Yes there are times when you call or message people from the industry ( Bollywood or other places ) most people are really WARM and KIND but we do find those who refuse to acknowledge or just brush you aside — THE WORLD IS MADE OF ALL SORTS …”

In her post, she continued how, “THERE are most who will respect you always but rare few when they need you they come to you – but when you drop a tinkle saying you would love to work together with them, they say we will see …. or smile it off ( though I never believed in doing that earlier, I did in the last few years make an effort — that’s what life is — nothing comes without effort and hard work -) … YET I STILL THANK GOD FOR Everything … I choose to say that it’s ok – maybe one doesn’t fit the bill, the role and so it’s ok ….. POSITIVE ….”

She ended the post with how Mumbai could surely be the land of dreams but also pointed out its drawbacks and how it could make one feel extremely lonely. Bhumika stated that “…and finally if there is anything more to you going than professional disappointment, or depression cause of various reasons —- YEH SHAHAR HAME HAMARE SAPNE DETA HAI , Naam deta hai … kabhi Kabhi Gumnaam bhi karta … lakho ki aabadi mein kuch TANHA BHI KARTA HAI ….. …….. if there was anything more I hope we come to know what it was … until then FINAL GOODBYE …. PRAYERS FOR YOU – wherever you are and prayers for your family.”
