Former US President, Barack Obama, recently put out his memoir called ‘A Promised Land’.

The book is said to be a story of Obama’s “improbable odyssey from a young man searching for his identity to the leader of the free world, describing in strikingly personal detail both his political education and the landmark moments of the first term of his historic presidency—a time of dramatic transformation and turmoil.”

It apparently gives insight not just into Obama as a person, but even what he thinks about other world leaders and politicians he has come across.

One quote, about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in particular, caught the eye of many and resulted in it becoming national news.

The quote came out in a review by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie of The New York Times and spread around like wildfire.

In the book, Obama described his opinion on Rahul Gandhi as someone who has “a nervous, unformed quality about him, as if he were a student who’d done the coursework and was eager to impress the teacher but deep down lacked either the aptitude or the passion to master the subject.”

It ended up even trending on Twitter and students especially it seems related to Obama’s words for Rahul Gandhi hard.

  1. One need not panic into Mr. Obama’s words & views.
People on this earth has rebuked God even; don’t get panicked again, I am not exaggerating.
Mr. Obama’s word can’t be ultimate for him or others.
After all, I adore Mr. Barack Obama for his distinct personality, especially the submissions he avowed for our ex PM, Mr. Manmohan Singh.
