At this point, practically the entire country and probably across international waters also know about the upcoming wedding of Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant.
The chairman of Reliance Industries, a Fortune 500 company and Asia’s richest man spared no expense in throwing a massive and glittery pre-wedding gala for his son and the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant.
The three-day celebration held in Jamnagar, Gujarat in India was a spectacle of opulence and truly befitting of the term the big fat Indian wedding and left many wondering if the pre-wedding bash was so grand what would happen in the actual wedding set for July.
The event was attended by some of the biggest names across the globe, from Indian film A-list celebrities to billionaire conglomerates, and other known personalities all were present.
However, apparently, the gala also had some restrictions for its fancy guests.
9 Page Dress Code
A nine-page dress code was also given to guests that included how guests should wear “jungle fever” themed outfits and “comfortable shoes” for the animal rescue center visit while for the mela it should be “dazzling” Indian outfits.
Luggage Capacity
Charter flights were arranged for guests flying from Mumbai and Delhi to Jamnagar, however, guests were only limited to one piece of hand luggage and one piece of hold luggage per person, or for couples it was 3 suitcases.
As per the guidelines “If you bring more luggage, we cannot guarantee that it will arrive in Jamnagar on the same flight as you, but we will do our best to bring it in at the earliest depending on the flight loads.”

Laundry And Makeup
While full laundry services were available for all the guests, but there was a supposed waiting time of 3 hours for the clothes to be returned.
According to the guidelines, guests were expected to “please plan accordingly” as “expecting or requesting anything quicker than that may not be feasible.”
Along with that basic makeup and hair styling services, sari draping and such were also provided on-site for all guests were these were more on a “first come first serve basis”.
The guests were also asked to share any medical or dietary restrictions stating “We ask anyone with accessibility, medical or dietary requirements to please reach out to the hospitality team in advance.”
The event had a performance by American superstar Rihanna and people like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Akon, Ivanka Trump, attended to give blessings to the soon-to-be-married couple.
