It was an unusual thing to see yesterday when Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Koli all posted on their Instagram. These posts for some were about recalling their own wedding day while for the single folk it was about taking a look back at their parent’s wedding day or even wondering for their own selves.
The internet was confused for a good minute about what these posts all referred to, since they all shared the common theme of asking the question of “shaadi ke baad sab badal jaata hai (everything changes after marriage)”.
But what was the reason for these cryptic but emotional posts?
What Were They Hinting At?
Where Neetu Kapoor shared a nostalgic and love-filled post of her own wedding day to the late Rishi Kapoor writing that “Mere liye shaadi ke baad sab badal gaya (Everything changed for me after my wedding). I am starting this new journey…with your blessings Rishi ji. With you in my heart, always” similarly Anil Kapoor also posted that “You gave us your blessings once…now my ‘other’ family needs blessings to start a new journey kyunki shaadi ke baad sab badal jaata hai,” adding an image from his own wedding 37 years ago to his wife Sunita.

Apparently, this is in relation to their upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo, directed by Raj Mehta, that is going to release soon. There were many confused comments earlier with people wondering why the entire cast was posting such things and talking about ‘Shaadi ke baad sab badal jaata hai.’
However, it seems that the audience has gotten smart these days as soon enough they could connect them as being Jug Jugg Jeeyo promotion. The interest in the movie, a seemingly light-hearted family drama film after the stressful 2 years of the pandemic, is surely present online.
Such posts that further create an engaging conversation around such a universal topic only serve to somehow, in some small way unite Indians of various walks of life because it is almost certain that everyone would have some thought or another on this topic.
It was also almost sweet how the cast was asking for blessings in their posts from the audience as if it was some real wedding.
Along with Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan also shared a not yet seen image from his own wedding last year while Kiara Advani shared a sweet image of her parent’s wedding. Other cast members Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli also jumped on the bandwagon of it all.
