There are more than 131 billionaires in India. India is home to the third-largest group of ultra-rich people after USA and China.
The number is excluding the Indian origins who if added increases the tally to about 170 people.
The list of billionaires in India just keeps on increasing with the addition of 31 more billionaires this year according to Forbes.
Not all of them have inherited wealth and have worked on their own, starting from scratch, to reach the billion-dollar mark.
