The first original Netflix series from India, crime thriller Sacred Games, debuted last week to an overwhelming response and positive reviews from critics and there are a lot of upcoming Netflix India originals yet to amaze us.
Netflix is indeed changing the Indian digital entertainment with quality, and original content which sets a new benchmark for Indian-produced internet shows.
This series has been launched at a time when the US streaming giant is battling Amazon Prime for a slice of India’s fast-growing market for video on demand.
Netflix are aiming to bring an array of shows for the Indian market and many of these upcoming shows are based on books by acclaimed authors, and with women as protagonists.
So what can we expect from Netflix after the grand success of Sacred Games? Well, quite a lot indeed. Here’s what’s coming next:
