When talking about the rich there are two groups within it, the new rich and the old rich. The new rich are those considered to have just attained their wealth, or within the last one or two generations only.

However, the old rich are the ones who are to be looked at when considering the truly wealthy, who have had wealth in their family for several generations and still maintain a lot of power.

When talking about this latter group, you wouldn’t often see them wearing the more mainstream luxury brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and more. For them, these brands would be similar to us buying budget clothing from Big Bazaar, Janpath and such places.

Due to these brands having such mass collections and being so well-known, the old rich do not really consider them as luxury brands anymore. Instead, here are some that are brands that the old rich really know.
