Nov 19: Raghav Kapoor is emerging as a leading Hindi & Punjabi singer who rose to acclaim through his two music albums –”HABIBI” released on B4U music couple of months back. This album is appreciated and liked by millions of viewers . The album has been directed by Subhashish Tripathi, lyrics by Prabhparteek Singh, music director – Jatin Jaggi. Raghav himself act in this album with his co-star Healya. “ZINDGI TERE NAAM” was his 2nd hindi album. In this, Raghav kapoor himself was singer, composer & Lyricist, directed by Teenu Sharma, music by –Amdad Ali.His co-star is Dilpreet Muskan. This album is streaming on Ganna,Tunes, Apple music, Wynk, Jiosaavn, Hungma, Spotify , Youtube music (Million Entertainers) and many more.
Gifted with an extraordinarily melodious voice and amazing versatile talent soon he has made four original songs, Yaar Ja Sharaab, Habibi, Zindagi Tere Naam and Ik Tera Chehra launched to his name, Raghav Kapoor has been training in classical music since the last 16 years from the renowned Shyam Chaurasia Gharana. Due to the efforts of his late Guru Shri Ravi Sharma Ji, the 22-year-old singer delivered his first on-stage performance in grade 3.
Born and brought up in a business family of Jhalendar, initially, singing was more like a hobby for him. But his father –Rajesh Kapoor, is a very supportive and great motivator of him. Because of his support, Raghav started learning singing in class 5th with his late Guru – Ravi Sharmaji. Because of his melodious and versatile voice, he got an opportunity to sing in Dordarshan & Radio of Jhalendar at his initial age of 5. While he was training for it, He could also compose music too. He then started doing Visharad for three years which is equivalent to attaining a teacher’s qualification in music. He completed that in his 9th grade and gave 6-7 hours each day to his practice. He is the first person in his family to venture into music, and therefore he himself-taught instrumentalist. He can play xylophone, harmonium, tabla, piano and guitar.
He did many cover songs on his Youtube channel like “Dil Diyan Gallan”, Mann Bharya, Sayonee, Aaj Jaane ki Zidd Na Karo” etc.
Raghav Kapoor is a commerce graduate and now pursuing an MBA too from Jhalendar. He won numerous awards and certificates for his singing. He is also a stage performer and does various live events in north India.
For his outstanding accomplishments in the field of music recently, he has been awarded “AKHAND BHARAT AWARD-2021” by the hands of Shri Jayaprada (veteran actress) & actor Rajpal Yadav at Chandigarh.
After these songs’ success, Sanjeev Kumar, producer & MD of Magnat productions, teamed up with singer Raghav Kapoor to produce 3 to 4 songs every year.
Toor-Ranjha, an upcoming song, will soon be launched on a known channel. A leading Punjabi model, Akansha Sareen, would be the co-star of Raghav Kapoor.
