Today, with every passing day, we are getting closer and closer to the dream of travelling in a flying car. Google’s co-founder Larry Page backed flying car company, Kitty Hawk, unveiled its latest flying car, named the ‘Flyer’.

It is a fully electrical vehicle having a capacity of just a single person. Powered by 10 independent lift fans, it can take off and land practically anywhere.

It’s like a human-sized drone or as described by CNN,

It’s something between a pontoon plane and a drone

Kitty Hawk released a 37-second video unveiling their new model, the Flyer. It also allowed CNN journalist Rachel Crane to pilot the vehicle, thus making her the first journalist to do so.

The company has been testing this car for a while now and it has finally unveiled it for individual customers to try the flying car themselves.

Although the company hasn’t disclosed its price yet, it is taking pre-orders on its website.
