Unlimited food being offered at a fixed price by all-you-can-eat restaurants can send even a skinny person in a frenzy. Who doesn’t love food, after all? That too, when being offered in limitless quantities, allowing you to fill your tummy without worrying about the cost.

Ah, the luxury!

But have you ever wondered how do all you can eat buffets make money? How could they possibly earn any profit by offering unlimited food?

How do they seamlessly continue to offer unlimited food without altering the price? Shouldn’t they turn bankrupt within days of opening?

Well, it’s a tricky business. There’s a lot of planning that goes behind offering such delight. You may think it’s easy, but it’s not.

And the planning, if gone wrong, can send even the most cash-rich of buffets go bankrupt, as seen in China earlier this week when a restaurant named ‘Jiamener’ in South China filed for bankruptcy.
