Weddings of celebrities are always a great deal. They don’t just involve other celebrities, close friends and relatives but also the fans all over the world.
These over the top weddings give paparazzi a field day and we all anticipate the exclusive pictures, who wore what and where the marriage took place and what was the “oomph” factor.
But in Ed Sheeran’s case the things were not so overt. The “Shape of you” hitmaker secretly got married to his childhood friend and high school sweetheart Cherry Seaborn, a hockey player who represented England in “Under 21” team.
According to a close source “Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet — just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest.”

The couple wanted a quiet dainty winter wedding with no more than 40 people. None of the close celebrities were invited, including Taylor Swift, who is Ed’s best friend.
The engagement was announced by Ed on Instagram with an adorable picture of him and Cherry alongside the caption;
“Got myself a fiancee just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well.”
A source also revealed that the couple are planning to host a festive-style wedding at the end of the summer for their celeb friends and executive colleagues.
Hopefully fans will get an insight to their dream wedding and a scope to congratulate the couple again.
