The song, written and composed by the first rock band of India, ‘Euphoria’ has touched hearts all across the nation. Founded in the late 1990s, the band has been known for one person, the one and only ‘Dr.’ Palash Sen. This guy turned 50 this year, and the energy he has on stage has an effect that makes the people in the audience stand up on their own and start dancing. On the 6th of this month, Economy Decoded was invited to attend one such concert as its media partners. This event was organized by the organisation- PFA (People for Animals). This organisation was founded by Ms. Menaka Gandhi widow of the Late Sanjay Gandhi and Mr. Pritish Nandy- a Padma Shri award winning poet, designer, painter and photographer.
Also invited in this concert, was the famous bollywood playback singer ‘Shilpa Rao’. She started doing playback in the year 2006 and gave a hit debut song ‘Tose Naina Lage Re Piya Saware’. These two big shots of the music industry performed together for the 1st time and as expected they just compelled the audience to dance and sing along with them. PS: Palash Sen’s PA- Mr. Alok acted as a bigger star than Palash himself. I guess the singer should reconsider keeping such guys with whom people can’t talk only.
