Cydney Makara is a 19 year old fashion model and influencer based in South Florida. She started modeling at the age of 14 and by age 16 her career started to sky rocket. Cydney said she wanted to start modeling at an early age of around 10 years old but lived in a very small town named Crawfordville, which had zero opportunity. At the age of 13 she moved to Sarasota Florida and started to Pursue a modeling career. She signed with her first Agency at the age of 14 where she learned what the industry was actually like. She had lots of people who helped her and pushed her to be what she is today, She says the person who she really looked up to at her first agency was a woman by the name of Caroline Alcala. She says Caroline helped lead her in the right direction in the modeling industry. Her journey as a model has not been the easiest as Cydney is only 5’5 however Cydney has worked with some of the biggest brands out there including Adidas, and H&M. The Model has also walked in 3 seasons of New York Fashion Week. As an influencer Cydney currently has 36.1k followers on her Instagram account and her fan base continues to grow each and every day. She says the hardest part of being an influencer is creating content for her fans, especially in the year 2020, with this pandemic. She says she loves to take pictures and loves to interact with her followers as much as she can. Apart from Modeling and social media Cydney she enjoys surfing and being outdoors Cydney has a funny and unique personality that has gotten her very far in life. Cydney likes to spend her free time learning new things, spending time with her family and friends, and being adventurous. She also is a huge inspiration to the younger generation and loves to empower the youth to follow their dreams for a successful future. Cydney has a kind charismatic attitude and she loves to help others. Cydney says “ living out your dreams doesn’t come overnight, it takes hard work and dedication.” Cydney has a goal to build a platform for other petite models in the industry and open the doors for many more to come. Cydney has been published in many magazines and has also graced the cover of a few as well. Cydney Makara is definitely someone to keep your eye on as she continues to grow and become more and more successful.
Aside from Modeling Cydney also has just started her very own social media agency on Instagram called @viral.mojo where she helps others build their social platforms.
