April 13: Rising short film actor, Apurav Degan has been thrilling audiences across the country with his award-winning acting skills. The Raipur-based actor has been making a noise in the acting industry for quite a while now with his exemplary performance as “Dau” in the “Dream A Lesson” short film.

“I strongly believe a great artist’s skills are not just limited to the stage where he is going to be performing. They are boundless, with the power to win the hearts of their audiences in seconds,” shares Apurav Degan, the man who slew the role of “Dau” in his successful and award-winning short film, “Dream A Lesson”.

Audiences absolutely loved his role in the film. The storyline of the short film revolves around two brothers and their strange dreams. Wherein, both the brothers understand the importance of what they have through very realistic dreams.

Apart from “Dream A Lesson”, Apurav’s role as “Swami Muralitharan in a famous short film, has been also been appreciated a lot by all the viewers to this very day. He will be seen in many more short films in the upcoming days.

The “Best Actor Award” winner, Apurav, has been a fond actor since his school days. From extensively participating in annual fest drama during his school days to completing his education in the field of cinematography and acting, he has been passionate about it all since the beginning. The enthusiastic actor has also bagged a 3-year course in acting and cinema production from one of Raipur’s top universities, AAFT University Of Media & Arts.

Most of the colleges were shut down amidst the rising coronavirus pandemic conditions. An enormous rise in online classes became the new normal during this period. Taking motivation from this kind of a huge shift in lifestyle, Apurav’s elder sister, who works in the medical college, and his classmates came together and formed the popular YouTube channel, Sai Aasra Films Entertainment.

From making comedy short films to making short films on thrillers or highlighting social issues, Apurav and his friends made numerous short films to entertain the widely distributed Indian audiences. They also made a good deal of devotional songs for Shri Sai Baba and posted them on the above-mentioned YouTube channel, Sai Aasra Films Entertainment.

As Sai Aasra Films Entertainment channel gained a good amount of popularity, many of the short films posted on YouTube through this channel gained applause. Their short films were also loved, appreciated, and used a good number of times in numerous online festivals.

Born in Chhattisgarh state, Apurav comes from a reputed Brahmin family in the region where his interest in the acting field and passion for acting was never given due consideration. While Apurav’s late grandfather, Dr. JK Degan was a well-known homeopath of his time, his mother, sister, and father are dedicated medical professionals in their respective fields to this very day.

Both of his parents, Dr. Rajesh Degan, his father, and Dr. Sangeeta Degan, his mother, are well-versed specialist doctors and senior officers in the Government of Chhattisgarh.
