Andrew Hristo’s Motivation to Succeed in Every Aspect

-

Startup Fortune, July 7, 2020: Some people just seem to have a knack for technology, business, travel, marketing, and making money. Andrew Hristo is one of those people, and he put his knowledge to use at 13-years-old. Like many 13-year-olds, all Andrew wanted was a bike. Unlike many 13-year-olds, the bike he wanted was a dirt bike, and he had to buy it himself. He started a business and made $20,000 in his first year. 12 years later and he’s all grown up and running his own social media marketing agency that focuses on web development, lead generation, and social media management for doctors, plastic surgeons, and dentists.

How did your business get started and what motivated/inspired you in this process?

Everything I do with work has something to do with my own personal goals. I’m always motivated to be the best I can be when it comes to my health, my relationship, and my work. This comes through in what I do.

What made you choose this business/industry?

Freedom. When you work online, you’re working on your own time. You can manage it from anywhere in the world. If you truly put in the work, then you’ll start seeing the benefits of that and in addition to freedom, your overall lifestyle will improve too.

When did you know you found the right idea and how did you capitalize on it?

I’ve always been interested in business, but I come from a really small town. I knew that if I wanted to sell products to people, I’d have to cast a wider net. I threw my energy into reaching out via the internet, basically using the world as my market. I also enjoy traveling, so I needed something that would allow me to move freely, and those are exactly the opportunities that social media marketing and drop shipping creates.

How important is mindset when starting your own business?

It’s the most important factor in success. Hard work and dedication are important, but you can’t get there unless you have the right mindset. You need to know that this isn’t going to happen overnight and you need to have the tools to be able to handle stress and your workload effectively. For me, this means eating healthy, exercising, and getting proper sleep.
