Influencer Ranveer “BeerBiceps” Allahbadia tweeted a ‘life hack’ for women to bring men ‘on their knees.’
Whodunnit
Ranveer Allahbadia is a social media influencer turned entrepreneur, with his YouTube channel “BeerBiceps” now grown into a full-fledged company. He is a self-titled motivational speaker, leadership coach and soon-to-be author.
He is also the co-founder of Monk Entertainment and has a mindset from decades ago in 2021.
He is famous for his podcast, “The Ranveer Show” which is one of the leading podcasts in India.
What Actually Happened
A few days ago, he uploaded a picture of a girl in a pastel green Kurti with big round earrings, captioned “This Vibe” with several heart emojis. That was still fine—him admiring and crushing over a vibe is not problematic.

What irked the public was a tweet by him, which says “Any girl becomes a 100x more attractive in a long kurti paired with those big earrings.
Life hack that brings all guys to their knees“

While unsure of his intent, Twitteratis were quick to deliver a load against his casual sexism and misogyny. Many Indian women wasted no time in pointing out this “modern, sweet, evolved” brand of misogyny Allahbadia was promoting.
Twitterati also made sure that the dangerous aspects of this inbred misogyny are not overlooked, pointing towards an incident involving a girl being thrashed to death for wearing jeans in Uttar Pradesh.

This is not the first time he has said something problematic. In April 2021, he tweeted, “If your entire opinion about someone is decided according to their political opinion, the problem is with your political opinion.” This was right before he went on to claim to be “apolitical”, which is just a fancy way of throwing about his privilege in a country where politics affect every aspect of our lives.
All Things Twitter
Ranveer Allahbadia has over 2,61,000 followers on Twitter, and he has been irresponsible while tweeting and seems to have forgotten that his content leaves an impression on his followers in the wake of his casual sexist remarks. However, Twitterati was quick to shut him down.
21st centuries modern, evolved, sweet misogyny.
