In the last few months, even introverts had a hard time staying in their homes with the same views. After all, it’s always more satisfying to stay in your room when you have the option of choosing between going out and staying in.
Like many of us, this Singapore based couple had enough of their views. But they decided to do something about it. Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam created a website “Window Swap” that lets you open a window to many different places around the world.
Initially, the couple just exchanged window views with friends. The idea of sharing it with strangers from all over the world sparked from there.
The windows give pleasing views and a gratifying experience to many, which has become something we all need these days.
Although a change of scenery is more satisfying for people filled with wanderlust, who would mind a refreshing change? Views from more than 80 countries are just one click away with Window Swap.

The creator, Sonali, also shared her personal experience with Window Swap, she said that when she saw a view from her hometown she felt extremely ecstatic and realised how pleasurable the experience can be for others as well.
When the couple was asked if they would monetize their site or create an app, they said monetizing it would steal the magic out of it.
I find this change of scenery to be very pleasant and calming. You can use the different views for calming effects and even meditation. It also gives a fresh feeling while you are writing or painting or even reading a book.
