What’s That Song?- 10 Ad Songs That Your Playlist Needs To Have

-

By Bharat Pandit

These are some songs that you’ve probably heard and even hummed, after watching adverts featuring them, but never bothered to trace the original artists. These advertisements are a great source to explore new musicians that cater to your choice of music. I know I’ve found a number of new bands that I would otherwise have not. I hope you do too.

Let the music begin!

1) 28000 Days by Alicia Keys, in Levi’s 2016 commercial.

2) Figure it Out by Royal Blood in the brand new Galaxy 7 and Galaxy 7 Edge ad.

3) Skeletons by Trails and Ways in the 2015 Moto G ad.

4) Sheesh Kebab by Ali Baba in 2015 Varun Dhawan advert for Samsonite.

5) Aise Na Mujhe Tum Dekho – A song from Dev Anand’s film Darling Darling, featured in the Wildstone commercial a couple of years back; Music : RD Burman; Singer: Kishore Kumar.

6) Music! Music! Music! (Put another nickel in) by Teresa Brewer.

Ever wondered where the 2 minute Maggi jingle was inspired from?

7) Sippin’ on Bacardi by Groove Connection. Drink up!

8) I like it Like That- Pete Rodriguez featured in the Microsoft Lumia 540.

9) Symphony No. 25 in G minor- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Titan used a part of this symphony to perfection.

Additionally, watch a 90’s Titan advertisement to relive the good ole’ days.
