Why Is Everybody Talking About Harry Potter’s Dobby Suddenly?

Here's why Facebook and Twitter are filled with Dobby memes and rants from Harry Potter...

-

Early this week, Twitter and Facebook went abuzz with some strange and spooky hullabaloo. A US woman named Vivian Gomez posted a video featuring a weird creature with giant ears and skinny legs and arms walking down her driveway. The ‘creature’ seemed much like Dobby from the famed Harry Potter series.

Vivian shared the clip on Facebook, saying, “So I woke up Sunday morning and saw this on my camera and am trying to figure out…what the heck??

First I saw the shadow walking from my front door then I saw this thing…has anyone else seen this on their cameras?? The other two cameras didn’t pick it up for some reason.”

Here Is The Link To The Bizarre Video:

How People Reacted:

Posted on 7th June, the video has got about nine million views and more than 42,000 likes!

The video caused a huge uproar on Facebook, which soon percolated into Twitter as well. Some eagle-eyed users suspect something fishy and term the video as a hoax.

They claim that the mysterious creature seems like a skinny child wearing a large hat that makes it seem like spooky ears.

Most users, however, feel that the creature is real-life Dobby from Harry Potter. W

However, there is little evidence that could say that the video is a hoax.

Talking to INSIDE Edition, forensic video analyst Conor McCourt says, “”It could be a lot of things. … Security videos can cause a ghostly effect.” He suspects that it could be a child.

But don’t take a sigh of relief too soon reader. McCourt further said that he does not believe that the video could be a doctored one. He feels that it is a normal setup and an actual CCTV footage.

It makes it tougher for us to decipher who or what that creature could be.

A lot of food for thought here. Run your brain’s horses, and let us know your speculations and reactions in the comments section below.
