Shark Tank India, the Hindi-language business reality television series, has recently entered its fourth season. The show features a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their idea for a business or product to a team of judges called the ‘Sharks’ who are investors or angel investors.
These Sharks then judge the pitch, asking questions related to the business such as the customer base, profits, losses, and more, and then decide whether they want to invest in and potentially mentor the pitcher or not.
The fourth season which started on 6 January features some regulars and some new faces including Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Azhar Iqubal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Ritesh Agarwal, Varun Dua, Vineeta Singh, Kunal Balh and Viraj Bahl.
However, one must also take a look into the profits and losses of the businesses of these Sharks who are judging the entrepreneurs.
How Are The Businesses Of Shark Tank India’s Judges Doing?
A recent report by The Financial Express took a look at the revenue of the different businesses owned by each of the Sharks, and based on publicly available financial data figured out how much profit or loss each made in the financial year (FY) of 2024.

While Ashneer Grover is no longer associated with BharatPe, he was the former MD and co-founder of the business and a Shark on the show in its first season.

According to reports, the richest shark on the fourth season of Shark Tank India is not any of the more known names like Anupam Mittal, or Peyush Bansal, but it’s instead Ritesh Agarwal, the founder and CEO of OYO Rooms.
As per reports, his net worth stands at a whopping Rs. 16,000 crore which has further earned him spots on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Asia and under the top 10 of the youngest Indian billionaires in the Hurun Rich List of India 2024.
Ritesh started OYO Rooms as Oravel Stays in 2011 but rebranded in 2013. Soon after the company was bringing in big revenues with its earnings in September 2018 coming to around Rs 8,660 crore or $1 billion.
This is not to say that the other judges don’t have significant net worths of their own with Kunal Bahl standing at Rs. 900 crore, Peyush Bansal at Rs. 600 crore, Anupam Mittal at 185 crore and Namita Thapar at Rs. 600 crore.
