India is famous for many things, spices, poverty (thanks to Slumdog Millionaire), and above all, its rich architecture.
Over the centuries, many kings and queens ruled India and added their own tastes in our architecture and it can be seen in the sculptures built by them over the centuries.
When we think of Indian architecture, we think of the beauty of Taj Mahal, the long-standing Qutub Minar or the serenity of Lotus Temple, but that’s not all of it. Indian architectural wonders stretch far beyond the well-known monuments.
Sculptures are created with such brilliance that they stand firm even after centuries. Every part of the figure is engraved with tiny details, giving each sculpture its unique touch.
Here are some of the lesser-known architectural wonders of India.
The breathtaking architecture of these temples and monuments give the feeling of a different world, a calmer world.
