The war between Samsung and Apple is not new and has their respective users flaming over the question, Which is better? The never-ending process of both sides presenting their arguments and finding flaws in the opposition brand has been going on for a long time. From the looks of it, it is not going to end anytime soon.

Samsung Throws Shade At Apple Through Their Latest Advertisement

In the advertisement for its latest model Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Samsung does not shy away from directly drawing a comparison to Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max. Taking a jab at the latter’s phone camera, the ad’s first tagline says, “Your phone upgrade shouldn’t be a downgrade”. (ouch!)

There are two different advertisements with the same theme, i.e. comparing Samsung’s camera with iPhone’s. The difference is in the feature that they want to highlight – detailing (Precision) in the first and zooming in the second.

What Do The Advertisements Show?

In the first video, they pose the question “detailed enough?” for the iPhone camera while zooming on to a snack. Undoubtedly, the Galaxy’s camera shows a much clearer and precise picture in which we can “see pin-sharp details”.

The second ad shows a picture of the moon. The Samsung camera clicks the photo as one would have seen with the naked eyes. It can zoom up to a hundred times, giving a crystal-clear picture. It is a massive improvement against the 12x zoom feature of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is obviously not “close enough”.

Hence, using Galaxy means “Upgrade to epic zoom” and “Upgrade to epic details”, an upgrade from the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Apple has not yet reacted to these cheeky tactics employed by Samsung to market its product.

Differences Between The Two Products

Samsung has established pretty strongly that its camera is better than its counterpart. It has a 108 MP wide camera, as opposed to iPhone’s 12 MP rear and front.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G costs a little over Rs 1,05,000. On the other hand, iPhone 12 Pro Max is costlier, amounting to over Rs 1,74,000.

In terms of Indian market share, Samsung currently leads Apple by a lot. The reason is majorly owed to lower prices of the former.

However, it is interesting to note that in the row between Samsung and Apple, a third player Xiaomi emerges as the winner, leading the overall Indian market share. Way to go, China!
