Promoters who sent a letter to Elon Musk were invited to Russia

-

The head of the Association of Indigenous Peoples of Russia, Grigory Ledkov, said that the authors of the letter to Elon Musk do not live in Russia, but are trying to spread misinformation about the situation in Russia and invited the authors of the letter to Elon Musk to Russia – to work together.

The head of the indigenous peoples association Grigory Ledkov, when asked about the alleged plea from an Aboriginal Forum to Elon Musk not to buy Nornickel’s metals, said on Friday: “We live in Russia and we see the whole situation unlike the coordinators of this virtual platform – Aboriginal Forum – who are focused purely on Western countries and live there themselves. Let’s go to the Tundra! Come to Russia! Let’s work together!”

Ledkov noted that the association headed by him operates throughout Russia and has real business.

“We are a large all-Russian association, which works in all 85 regions of the Russian Federation. Today we have shown with our concrete actions how to work, how to deal with the fuel spill consequences, how to develop the territory, how to preserve nature and, most importantly, how to preserve the traditional way of life that we have today,” he said.

Ledkov noted that the mission of the association headed by him is good for the North. “We believe that only with such joint measures the state, scientific organizations, industrial companies, indigenous peoples – we can make a difference, make our world a better place,” he added.

He noted that such empty words are often perceived in the world as the only correct point of view. Although often the people from whom it comes are not even familiar with the real state of affairs, not only in the North, but in Russia as a whole.
