The much-awaited Met Gala 2025 took place on 5 May 2025 in New York City, USA, and was attended by some of the who’s who from around the world. There have already been many discussions and debates around the fashion each person exhibited, whether they were true to the theme, if they were a hit or a miss, and who were the kings and queens of the event to hit the mark so amazingly that it would go down in fashion history.
Of course, the glitz and glitter of the day didn’t die down with just the main event but continued on into the many after-parties that were held later in the night. Known for their anything-goes dress code, these exclusive events have become a playground for celebrities to experiment, push boundaries, and sometimes miss the mark entirely. While the main gala adhered to this year’s theme with a dazzling mix of elegance and historical homage, while still trying to be unique, the after-parties gave stars a chance to let loose and reinterpret fashion on their own terms.
Sure, the fashion for the after-parties is not judged as strictly as the main event; however, that does not mean one can just slack off.
