Joel Henry is a photographer, traveler and influencer and his Instagram feed is a proof for his passion. Joel is a Swiss / Italian bloke who had initially started photography during his University days. This turned into an immense driving passion to travel, garnering him quite a follower base as his feed serves as an inspiration to many.
Photography then became a necessity for him to work with in larger companies. Joel understands how his social media can showcase his passion and be the face of his business. He knows the real deal is to have a strong follower base on Instagram and TripAdvisor.
Joel had first started out with his page on Facebook, which he directly connected to his passion of photography even when the term ‘influencer’ did not exist. For Joel, this worked as a source for him to share his creativity which eventually led him to create a community where he shared his love for travel with like-minded people.
Talking more about the current situation owing to the pandemic, Joel shares, “On one hand, the pandemic has negatively affected the whole travel and content creation part. On the other hand, it has made a lot of companies realize that nowadays you make the difference online. In fact, those who suffered the least from this pandemic are those who had an e-commerce and who continued to sell despite people being locked at home. Once positioned, you have a solid foundation on which to build possible business.”
Many people on social media are trying to become influencers but Joel sees a bigger picture – making his social media the biggest testimony to the same.
