Best City To Live And Work In India

In a survey conducted by the destination discovery website Holidify.com, Hyderabad ranked as the best city to live and work in India by scoring 4.0 out of 5.0. The survey listed 34 best cities to live in India wherein Hyderabad is followed by Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai. 

The website mentioned, “These cities are an amalgamation of the cultures of various states that have been moulded into well-structured cities. Whether it is strong infrastructure, sustainable development or simply improving the economy, these mega-cities function effortlessly due to incredible process mechanisms”.

However, this is not the first time Hyderabad has bagged such a prestigious position. The city had also been earlier selected as the world’s most dynamic city in the JLL City Momentum Index 2020. 

Why Hyderabad?

Hyderabad is home to some of the biggest names in the tech industry. The city combines heritage and modernization in an unique manner.

The survey reported about the city of pearls, “A city of contrasts, Hyderabad exudes an old-world charm of its own with the Old City (Charminar side), Hitech City (Cyberabad) and the other areas lying between the old and the new.

It further added, “It is these very contrasts these glimpses into the city’s rich past with inherent promises of an even better future that make Hyderabad a city worth visiting. Hyderabad pulsates with a spectacular mix of people and traditions“. (sic)

The survey also said that the city is fast turning into the New York of South India. The best time to visit Hyderabad is between September and March. 

Hyderabad, the largest city as well as the capital of Telangana, has several historical and interesting locations to visit. It is home to antique mosques and lively bazaars which are set up parallelly alongside the modern office buildings and malls.
