Marathon is Canceled, Running ISN’T!

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 28: HRX, India’s first home-grown fitness brand, owned by Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and Exceed Entertainment, initiated a virtual marathon for running lovers in this pandemic struck time because Marathons can get cancelled, running can’t!

The unique virtual marathon, never attempted by any of the fitness brands , starts this 27th January 2022

A pandemic may have hit us, but nothing will break our stride. HRX brought out an opportunity for the runners to still be part of a running event on the same day as the previously scheduled Mumbai Marathons. 

HRX Virtual Marathon 2022 gave participants the flexibility to run from the comfort of their respective localities through online registration, thus always keeping safety paramount. During registration, the brand received an overwhelming response, with participation being closed in less than 24 hours as they received 1000 participants, which was the upper limit for the Marathon.

On the launch, Hrithik Roshan, Bollywood sensation and the man behind HRX, said, “Fitness begins with initiative and continues with consistency. Everyone has put a lot of effort into training all year for the Marathon, and we did not want that effort and commitment to get wasted. At HRX, we want everyone to be the best version of themselves despite the challenges. Today, the pandemic was a challenge, but we found a way to run together virtually, and I am very proud of the imitative taken not just by HRX but also the participants. With this event I am sure that we will set a pretext in our industry for followers to follow”

The registered participants were gratified with HRX running kits comprising of their running jerseys and finisher medals and a bunch of goodies and offers from HRX channel partners, and on the completion of the Marathon, they will receive a digital certification for participation.

Participants have the option to run 5kms, 10km, 21km or 42km. The runners are further encouraged to share their pictures using #HRXVirtualMarathon on social media & tag @hrxbrand to get featured and WIN.
