The founders of Marketing Genius present their latest project: an online academy entirely focused on the profession of Social Media Manager.
Matteo Pittaluga and Fabio Gallerani have been considered pioneers in the field of online education since when they opened the doors of Marketing Genius back in 2016.
“Our goal has always been to provide the best online programs for all our students and members. What we noticed back in 2015 when we had the idea of launching an online academy was the fact that traditional education lacks of practical information and updated programs” says Matteo Pittaluga.
“The real problem here is velocity. In a fast-growing society where digital skills have become essential for anyone, we must understand that school programs cannot possibly be updated in real-time because they take very long to be approved and put together. The result then is that students from all over world are always behind with their knowledge if we compare it to what the market is demanding right now” affirms Fabio Gallerani.
These were the main reasons why the two entrepreneurs decided to launch the online business school Marketing Genius specialized in digital marketing and teaching high-income digital skills that allow their students to be prepared for what the new economy is asking for.
In September 2019 Matteo and Fabio successfully launched a program called “SMM”, a short diploma course that focuses on the profession of Social Media Manager.
Matteo: “It was a great success since the beginning, not only for our students but also for their clients. So many companies and entrepreneurs right now are looking for somebody who can take care of their online presence and follow the entire process of digitalization that they have to face”.
Fabio: “When we launched the program we received many requests from small companies and business people that were looking for a Social Media Manager and wanted to get in touch with our students. So instead of limiting this project to a simple online training program we decided to build an ecosystem for our students and we launched the website https://socialmediamanagers.org where our best students are listed and all companies can join for free and find the right SMM for them… it was a huge success and we are still working on it every day to make it better”
After the course SMM however, Matteo and Fabio recently announced the birth of Accademia SMM, an intense 60 days study program where students can count on the support of a personal coach, live meeting calls with the teachers and a more powerful environment.
Matteo: “We decided to take everything to the next level and create a separate academy just for Social Media Managers. In this training program our students will go through an 8-weeks intense study experience where every week we will be focusing on a specific subject and assign them a weekly task so they can be accountable”.
Fabio: “The best part is that besides the live lessons with the teachers each student will have a personal coach that will follow their work and make sure they always stay on track. We noticed that when it comes to online studying some people find it hard to be consistent due to the lack of contact with other students and teachers so we decided to create a new format where students feel part of the group, interact a lot and get the same experience as being in a real class at school”.
