The ’70s was an era that will be remembered for a long time as the decade of cricket, movies and impeccable fashion. Every ’70s kid is nostalgic when talking about their childhood, and why not? The start of the decade had a high spirit of patriotism with India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war. It was the time of Sunil Gavasakar, as India won its first test series against England, of Rajesh Khanna with his irresistible charm, and of the fashion that would come to be known as the retro era in the coming years.
