Badminton
India seems to be improving in this sport too. The charge will be led by Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta, Ashwini Popat and Parupalli Kashyap. These players are already proving to be constant competition to the chinese players and in 2013 these players will only improve. Also, Pupella Gopichand’s coaching skills are praise worthy and he will be an important factor in furthering the growth of badminton in the country. All in all the future for badminton in India looks good.

Wrestling
2008 was the turning point for the sport in the country. Sushil Kumar’s bronze medal in the Beijing Olympics helped the sport gain popularity in the country. Since then the sport has gained a lot more popularity and medals for the country. 2013 looks to be a very bright year for the sport. A lot of young, aspiring wrestlers proved their worth in international competitions in 2012 and 2013 will prove to be a very good year for the sport. ED forecasts that new wrestlers will emerge and India will become a dominant force in the sport of wrestling.
