The third season of the business reality show Shark Tank India has just started this week and it seems that people are now making comparisons of the new judge to previous older ones.
One of them being Deepinder Goyal, Zomato’s founder and CEO being seen in the same light as former judge Ashneer Grover.
Grover had made a lot of noise during the first season of the show with his reactions and many of them of course became meme fodder. Now, netizens are taking to compare Goyal to Grover.
What Are The Netizens Saying?
Apparently, a clip of an episode from the show is going viral where Goyal is seen making some sharp remarks and deeper insights into a pitch, critiquing the lack of attention in the pitch from entrepreneurs presenting from WTF fitness.
One of the things Goyal pointed out was “Why does the phone number you have mentioned have nine digits instead of ten?” and he further raised other grammatical mistakes the presentation had.

Deepinder stated “Since past 10 mins I have been trying to figure this out. It was bouncing back seeing 9 digits. Attention to detail. This is your showcase. You are coming on TV. Show your customer some love and respect.”

Not just this but he also stated that with a presentation that has so many mistakes, the business is not respecting its customers saying “You are letting down your customers.”
When the pitcher revealed that he himself hasn’t gone to his gym in the last 4 months Goyal said “You don’t use your own product and services.”
All these comments and Goyal’s straightforward manner seemingly impressed netizens who in turn compared him with Ashneer Grover who was a judge in the first season of Shark Tank India.
One user commented “new soft Ashneer Grover in Shark Tank India S3”, other comments stated how “Deepinder Goyal is stealing the show” and “Yeh Shark toh danger hai (This Shark is dangerous).”
