Breakfast Babble: ED’s own little space on the interwebs where we gather to discuss ideas and get pumped up for the day. We judge things too. Sometimes. Always. Whatever, call it catharsis and join in people.
In a world that is obsessed with success stories and winners, failure is not given its due.
As it is often said, nothing is sweeter than the taste of success, and nothing is more bitter than the taste of failure.
But what if I tell you that failure is actually not that bad?
To Learn From The Failure Is To Grow
Failure provides a tremendous opportunity to reflect and introspect. Failures, mistakes, adversity, and setbacks all allow us to learn about ourselves at a great length.
It opens up a window around the conversations that we usually avoid. Failure encourages you to identify your limitations and work towards them.
It is humanly not possible to win all the time. The emphasis, therefore, should not be on winning or losing but on learning. We should inculcate in us the habit of learning from our past mistakes to grow as a person. We must accept our failures and defeats and move ahead in life.
It Is Only Human
It is only human to get discouraged or unmotivated after experiencing a setback. But the real winner is the one who rises from the ashes like a phoenix and prepares themselves to soar high in the sky.
The Duality Of Reality
Consider the principle of yin and yang which illustrates how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Similarly, failures are an essential part of success.
While success brings contentment, it is the failure that ignites the fire within us and keeps it intact.
Always remember that with the right mindset and a positive outlook, anything can be achieved because in all honesty, learning to lose is learning to win.
