The week was started off by Barcelona as they played Alaves at home and it was a comfortable 6-0 victory for them over their rivals for the day.

The much famed “MSN” trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez were all on the score sheet for The Catalans as they romped against their minnow rivals.

It was Luis Suarez who opened the scoring as he scored via cross from Aleix Vidal in the 37th minute to break the deadlock and then scored a second goal late in the game. Goals were further added by Messi in the 59h minute and Neymar in the 40th.

Luis Suarez scored a double in Barcelona’s victory.

An own goal from Alexis Ruano and a strike from Ivan Rakitic were also a part of the 6-0 victory.

Things went downhill for Barcelona as Aleix Vidal sustained a horrific injury in the fixture. The concerned player will be facing some serious time on the sidelines and we wish him a speedy recovery.

The dynamic then changed as Real Madrid played their match against Osasuna in a tough away fixture as Real Madrid had won only twice in this fixture in the last 4 years.

Zidane played a cautious 5-3-2 formation for Real Madrid as Cristiano Ronaldo maintained his stunning record vs Osasuna to score a fantastic goal and help the team win.

It was Real Madrid who drew first blood in a tense affair as it was Cristiano Ronaldo with a lovely finish to make it 1-0 for Los Blancos.

Things went haywire for Osasuna as their right back Tano suffered a horror injury on a questionable surface which raised plenty of questions about Osasuna’s stadium and pitch quality.

They did male it 1-1 with a lovely chipped finish over the keeper by Leon Limones.

But then again, it was the young guns Isco and Lucas Vasquez who scored in the 2nd half to keep the Los Blancosat the top of the table.
