#PartnerED

Just one day before the International Women’s Day (March 8th), Love Matters India is celebrating the theme “Women talk about sex…get over it!” as a way to normalize the fact that women can and do talk about sex.

The event believes that there ought to be more spaces for women to have such conversations which can reduce the stigma and shame around women’s sexuality and bring about a positive change in the broader culture around talking about sex.

Love Matters India believes in enabling spaces for young people to have open, honest and non-judgmental conversations around love, sex and relationships so they can make informed choices about their sexual well-being, and have healthier and happier relationships.

As part of this theme, Love Matters India at the event will be organizing an open mic event aimed at encouraging women from all backgrounds, regardless of their age, class, caste, sexual orientation, occupation, etc. to share their experiences, struggles, and wins related to talking about sex across diverse settings and spaces using variety of formats – storytelling, dancing, art, spoken word poetry, etc.

The event is open to everyone!

Join us to be a part of the conversation to advance sexual justice for women everywhere!
