The first song from the upcoming movie JugJugg Jeeyo is finally out and is already being touted as being the next wedding song of the year.
The family drama film Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, directed by Raj Mehta is a joint Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios production.
But it is how the cast of the movie is promoting it that has everyone falling in love with it already and waiting with bated breath for it to release already.
The song composed by Tanishq Bagchi and sung by Gippy Grewal, Zahrah S Khan, Tanishk Bagchi and Romy is an inspired version of the 2002 ‘Nach Punjaban’ by Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq.
Abrar Ul Haq has been given his due credits for the original song with Tanishq Bagchi writing the new parts of it.
An energetic dance number featuring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani busting some interesting choreography with Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, the song is already being called as having the potential to become the go to wedding song this time.
Fans are already pouring in praises for the song with some commenting that “This masterpiece was made years ago by abrar ul haq. Hats off to the legend. Tanishk has also done an amazing job and gippy paa g ki singing to awesome hai,” while another said that “This Song is just amazing. I am addicted to this song, VD’s looks, dance, moves and everything. He is just perfect.”
Varun Dhawan & Kiara Advani have been promoting the song with an exclusive premiere in New Delhi and Chandigarh surrounded by fans.

The Punjaabban Song was launched by Kiara and Varun in an exclusive premiere in New Delhi and Chandigarh. Videos are already going viral of Dhawan and Kiara dancing with fans to the song and having a fun time all together.
In New Delhi, they visited the PVR Plaza theatre where they interacted with fans and saw the song in its entirety with everyone. They even had an impromptu dance session with the fans to the song, making sure everyone felt the high energy of it.
They also jetted off to Chandigarh where they had a similar interaction with the audience and promoted the song.
