With the UEFA Champions League starting off with surprising aplomb with numerous twists, it has also provided us with its fair share of players turning the footballing sphere up on their heads.

Each year we are blessed with such players who have barely set foot onto the playing field alongside the veterans and they give them a run for their money. However, in football, age is but a number and the youngsters can swoop in anytime to snatch the rug from under their experienced feet.

Quite obviously, it is a tad too early to say anything about the footballers’ performance as the season has barely begun and the UCL campaign but a matchday down.

However, the world of football keeps giving and the duration sparsely matters. Thus, the following are a few players that we need to watch out for this season and possibly the next.

This season might just provide us with a few more generational talents to rival the likes of Haaland and Mbappe. No matter the case, their talent can only work when they are effectively complemented by their teammates. Thus, whatever happens, it is football that will win.
