FINANZA’21 the annual finance festival of Mithibai College, Mumbai took place on the 28th and 29th of January across various platforms including MS teams, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Finanza is a 2-day intercollegiate finance festival of Mithibai College. The events at Finanza include various competitions like Mock Stock, Conclave, exhibitions and seminars.
Many celebrities and entrepreneurs made an appearance at Finanza’21, what with it being the biggest and the most awaited financial festival. The Conclave and Mock Stock are the main highlights of the festival.
Over 3,000 colleges were invited to the event. The majority of the participants were from Delhi University, Bangalore University, Tezpur University and other well-known colleges from Mumbai University.
The management events had interesting games like Bid To Yield and Flexi Finance and along with other informal events that included games called Lightning Dice and Bollywood Run. All four events had 80 participants in each slot.
The flagship event: Mock Stock trading, had 154 participants on Day 1 and 177 on the second day.
Mock Stock is a flagship event of the fest held for two days at regular market timings, where aspiring students would get an opportunity to show their skills and experience the live market.
Conclave, which was the main highlight of the event had well-known speakers on both days, speaking on the topic like equity trading, new age entrepreneur, the economic paradigm, etc.
Conclave serves as the platform of choice for decision-makers in finance, politics, media, advertising, etc to discuss trends that assist them in growing the overall business. The event is not only attended by the young minds of Mithibai but also by the students of colleges under the SVKM trust.
Conclave had 2,788 viewers on Day 1 and 3,108 viewers on Day 2, across various platforms.
The event was a great success.
