An Infosys employee was stabbed to death at a busy Chennai railway station. And since then so many other incidents affecting women’s safety only seem to be increasing by the day. The current situation of an Indian Woman in our Indian society does not assure the security and freedom they wish for. Crimes against the women are increasing day by day.

As part of ED’s VoxPop, we decided to ask the women of our country “As an Indian Woman do you feel safe in public areas like stations, bus stands, and airports? What threatens you the most in the public places?”
It’s time for every citizen of our country to step up and ensure our sisters are safe and secure in our mother land.
