March 15: The group has been passionate from time to time to build the capacity of impoverished communities to ensure the empowerment of women. Through its Avercurate Foundation and its fostering initiatives, the house of brands carries out sustainable and holistic initiatives to find solutions to problems women of these communities face on an everyday basis – right from their education and nutrition to hygiene and reproductive health. The efforts also are done to uplift their status in society and help them create a better future for themselves and their families.
A primary initiative of the Avercurate Foundation called Avercare offers solutions to deep-rooted development problems concerning the health, nutrition, and hygiene of girls and women. Within the framework of this project, Avercurate integrates a strong network of partnerships and connections to visit families to provide basic commodities to them. Apart from nutritious food, diet charts are given to impoverished communities to raise awareness regarding nutrition and health. Counseling and services related to maternal, reproductive, and child health are also provided along with information on hygiene and sanitation. The team of Avercare project Conduct health workshops and distribute sanitary pads to adolescent girls and women to encourage healthy hygiene practices during menstruation. Free medical camps are organized to offer facilities for general check-ups & treatment and also to provide awareness programs on life-threatening ailments like breast cancer and HIV/AIDS.

Avercurate Foundation’s second primary initiative, Averchange collaborates with education innovators and institutions to instill digital skills and knowledge in children, especially young girls to keep their promise for their empowerment. The educators focus on building STEM skills and providing technological solutions to help them solve complex real-world problems. For women, the Averchange project offers vocational training programs. These programs aim to imbibe the development of technical, business, and entrepreneurship skills in women hailing from unrepresented backgrounds.
