Jaipur: The Rajasthan Foundation has announced the formation of its new chapter in Hong Kong to strengthen engagement with the Rajasthani diaspora and deepen its connection with Rajasthan.

Shri Puran L. Jeswani, originally from Ajmer, has been appointed as the first President of the newly formed chapter.

The initiative is expected to enhance collaboration between the Rajasthani community in Hong Kong and the Government of Rajasthan, while opening new avenues for investment, trade, and socio-economic development.

Jeswani, who is also the Chairman of Bhagwanti Group of Companies, is the founder of China Trade Forum & Event Management Co. Ltd., established in 2015.

The organisation was created with the vision of promoting the “Make in India” initiative and strengthening business and cultural ties between India and China through trade, investment, cultural exchange, and strategic collaboration.

Under his leadership, the company facilitates B2B trade, cross-border investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer, and project consultancy across key markets including United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, apart from India and China.

Its operations span sectors such as real estate, solar energy, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), electric vehicles (EVs), charging infrastructure, and waste management.

Beyond business interests, Jeswani is also actively engaged in social welfare initiatives. Through his organisations, 3–4 large-scale events are organised annually in China to support orphanages and old age homes, while essential supplies are also distributed to NGOs in India.

His initiatives further include regular outreach programmes for orphanages, old age homes, and homeless communities, focusing on humanitarian support alongside business development.
