A lot of us have heard the term “miracle child” before. These are children who are not only gifted but extremely talented and they make great use of this talent at a very young age.

Be it Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart who played songs on the harpsichord at 4-years-old and composed music at 5 or Judit Polgar who was a chess prodigy and at the young age of 15 earned the rank of grandmaster, breaking the record set by Bobby Fischer in 1958, these are all miracle children also known as child prodigies.

A prodigy is a person, especially a young child who is endowed with exceptional qualities or abilities.

Some of these child prodigies have also been found in India like Srinivasa Ramanujan who is the greatest self-taught mathematician of all time with an exceptional memory.
